Andrea Kenneth is 24. She is based out of Cochin is joining E&Y at their Bangalore office. Prior to this she was with TCS. She is also pursuing her MBA at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai.

On Ambitions and what she sees around

Where do you see yourself 15-20 years from now?

I see myself as the CFO at one of the Big Four. I put in a lot of effort and I think I can get there.

What do you see around you?

I am dedicated to my work. But that is lacking in a lot of people. If they focus they can get to what I am dreaming about. There are opportunities and you must try to go and grab them. To do that you must look for it and learn more.

Why do you think many people in your generation are unfocused?

I think many families restrict their children from following their passion. So, they listen to what their parents have to say. But each one must be encouraged to follow their dreams.

If stopped from pursuing dreams and what others are thinking about

What if your family stops you from following your dream?

If not allowed to follow my dreams, I will end up being a rebel. I won’t give up. No matter what. And then I will go back to them and tell them why they should be proud of me.
